Its not easy to hold the attention of fifty Cub Scouts, ranging in age from
seven to eleven, as well as their siblings, parents, and grandparents. You
certainly chose your stories well."

not only their own homerooms, but the second grades.

Strengths of the residency were
the demonstration storytelling by Carol, student dramatization of the story,
and positive reinforcement by peers and the younger
audience.
This was a real confidence builder.
and gave students practical experience in public speaking. It also provided
creative experience in thinking on your feet--visualizing the story, hand
motions, characterizations, etc.
The only drawback was that we
didnt have enough sessions with Ms.Connolly."
